Career and apply for jobs
Workshop Finding a job that fits
During your studies you will regularly ask yourself what you will do "later" with all the knowledge and skills you acquire. What kind of jobs could I do? Which employers are looking for me? And what do I really want? And even if you know (roughly) what you are looking for, you have not yet found the job or internship of your choice immediately. Where do you start searching?
This workshop is intended for students and young alumni who want to get a better idea of what they are looking for and what are the different ways to look for it. If you have a clear idea of what you are looking for in a job, this workshop will help you identify interesting employers, make contacts, ultimately apply for a specific job and explain why this job suits you.
In the workshop “Finding a job that fits?’ You will receive practical tips for looking for interesting employers and vacancies. We also discuss how to make valuable contacts and how you can use these contacts for your career. The use of LinkedIn is certainly also discussed.
Who can participate?
Students enrolled at Leiden University and alumni up to one year after graduation. This workshop will be in English. Check out the Dutch options (same content, other dates).
