Confidential Contact Persons

Content of the training

How to treat one another and how to prevent undesirable behaviour are important social issues. Confidential contact persons (CCPs) within student organisations play a role in monitoring and promoting a climate of dignity and respect within associations. The CCP is primarily someone who can offer a listening ear, then refer students to the university's confidential counsellor, the Complaints Committee, or external parties such as the police or a GP.

Winston & Partners offers a basic training course for CCPs that explains the role and who is (and isn't) suited to it. The course discusses the visibility of CCPs, explains your referral options as a CPL, and allows you to practice confidential interviews.

For who?

  • Board members of student associations
  • Key figurs of student associations: members who fulfill a function for which the training is relevant. Such as a confidential peer listener, board member of a dispute, or bar or order committee

Practical information

This 4 hour course can be followed free of charge by confidential peer listeners from student organisations. It is available in both English and Dutch.
