Content of the training 

How do you deal with people around you who may be struggling with suicidal thoughts? During the Gatekeeper training, you will learn how to discuss this sensitive topic and how to assess the safety of the situation.

For who? 

  • Board members of student associations  
  • Key figures within student associations, i.e. members who fulfil a role for which the training is relevant. For example, confidential peer listeners, board members of sub-associations (disputen), or bar and order committee

  • Practical tips: learn to recognise the signs within your association. 
  • Practical exercises: discover how to initiate an open conversation.
