Social technology for big data and artificial intelligence

Rijksmuseum Boerhaave and the Lorentz Center organize a public lecture on the interactions between information technology and society. With the title ‘Fairness and Accountability of Sociotechnical Algorithmic Systems’, it will be given by danah boyd from New York. She is a Microsoft researcher and founder of the research institute Data & Society.

In her lecture she will examine a wide variety of issues that emerge around socially-oriented technologies that leverage big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
