About the lecture

Culture is something that we absorb and internalize and get used to over time until it becomes a central part of our identity. It shapes how we perceive significant things about us through our values and our ways of relating to others.

Where culture helps us relate to our surroundings it isn’t a big step to perceive that growing up within different cultures will influence how the individual not only relate to the variety of surroundings but also develops a sense of self.

Moving between different countries or/and growing up with parents of different backgrounds can give you the feeling of belonging everywhere and nowhere. On the other hand, you might be a great bridge builder between cultures.

Find out more about the gifts and challenges of living or working in between cultures.
