The 2020 World Press Freedom Conference hosted by The Kingdom of the Netherlands and UNESCO will take place on 9 and 10 December 2020. This digital edition will be a new, innovative format, merging digital and in-person elements in an exciting 2-day programme.
Organisers have partnered with Leiden University to host the Academic Conference on 9 December. The theme of this Academic Conference will be 'Safety of Journalists' and its innovative form will allow a great number of international scholars to present their research on a truly global stage.
