Please join us this Monday (21st of November) for this public discussion consisting, firstly, of a lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Samkharadze which will primarily focus on Georgia's EU membership perspectives, the regional threat posed by Russia, and the South Caucasian nation's role in a quickly changing international order. This lecture will be followed by a Q&A session in which there will be ample room for questions coming from the audience. For anyone interested in the region, attending this event would be highly recommended.

The ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr. David Solomonia, and the 4 Georgian MPs making up the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia will also be present to add to the discussion and answer any questions that the audience might have.

The event will take place on Monday, November 21st, (doors will open at 17:00) at Schouwburgstraat 2, The Hague, room A.006. There is limited space available, so please make sure to register in time using this link.

Speakers

Prof. Dr. Nikoloz Samkharadze is the chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia since 2020, and a member of the Committee on European Integration. Prior to becoming a Member of Parliament, Dr. Samkharadze has worked as the Chief of Cabinet of the Speaker from 2016-2020, and has managed Border Management Programmes in South Caucasus at the UN Development Programme from 2010-2016. He teaches courses on EU Foreign and Regional Policy and Border Management at Tbilisi State University and also works as the Head of the Delegation of Georgia to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
