Each series forms a dynamic whole which is reminiscent in style to a work-out. By focusing attention on your movement and breathing and being aware of your body, you achieve an effect similar to that achieved by runners. During a series you adopt standing, sitting and lying poses one after another.

Workshop: Challenges for growth (ENG) - The Hague

Workshop - While making our decisions and creating our life path, we encounter experiences that sometimes make it difficult to achieve our personal and professional goals – our challenges. Even though challenges are often seen as something we’d like to get away from, they represent perfect opportunities for us to grow, to develop new skillsets, to learn about ourselves and the world, and to learn how to take charge of our life regardless of what gets thrown our way.

If we listen and deal with the challenge in the context in which it arises, we will no longer have to deal with it in a different context in the future. The moment a challenge enters our awareness is the most powerful moment to deal with it. Becoming aware of a challenge and developing approaches to manage it makes us feel freer and confident. We will have more time, energy and mental room to spend on enjoying our experiences, achieving goals, and creating life by our own design.

  • What are the DO's and DON'Ts for authentic and deep relationships?

If you come across a pillar, we invite you to check the messages to find if there is anything interesting for you, or to leave a message or request of your own.

14:15-16:45 - Challenges for growth (ENG) - The Hague

But how can we make sure that these relationships can stay and we don't end up alone?

Let's meet and discuss:

  • What are the DO's and DON'Ts for authentic and deep relationships?
  • How can we deal with cultural differences?
  • How can we cope with loneliness, homesickness, nostalgia and with the distance from home, family and friends?

These all impact our ability to achieve our goals in supportive or discouraging ways, and consequently infleunce our ability to create our happiness and success.

13:00 -15:30 Successfully integrating in a post-COVID world (ENG) - Leiden

Workshop - The COVID period has been a crazy, unique experience filled with uncertainty, restrictions, and many new and unexpected challenges. Young people have had little room, opportunity and resources to properly process the experience. As a result, many of them are (re)entering university life with unresolved baggage, emotions, and challenges that negatively impact their mental health and ability to successfully integrate into university life.

In this workshop, you can de-stress and connect with fellow students about your COVID experiences and challenges. As a group, you will work towards reframing your COVID challenges as opportunities through interactive, non-judgmental, peer-to-peer exchanges. You will also develope personalised and practical tools and approaches to help you move through your COVID challenges with confidence. This will in turn help you to understand and process your experiences and successfully integrate back into a post-COVID world.
