Trans and Non-binary Peer Support Group

Our initiative aims to provide a safer, more understanding space for trans and non-binary students seeking community care and support. We offer a free, confidential, bi-weekly peer support group. The group aims to encourage community-building by sharing our experiences, resources and coping strategies. The peer support group is facilitated by students who are trained and supervised regularly by licensed psychologists. This initiative is funded by the JEDI fund of the Humanities Faculty.

How to participate

If you are a trans, non-binary, or questioning student/recent graduate at any university and are interested in joining this peer support group, please fill in the sign up form on our website. We will then contact you to arrange an intake interview to discuss things further. If you are hesitating, we encourage you to reach out to us.

When and where

We are starting to welcome participants in October 2022. However, this group is operating all year long (except holidays), so feel free to reach out to us at any time to see if there are openings. The sessions are bi-weekly and moderated by student facilitators. There is a stable group of 8 participants. The sessions are held at the center of The Hague.
