In the run-up to the European elections next month (June 6-9), Leiden University's Campus The Hague students are invited to hear from and debate politics with candidate- European parliamentarians (MEPs) from across the political spectrum. In the years ahead, the EU has to decide on a number of important issues such as climate change, regulating AI, migration, and the war in Ukraine. In the context of the rise of populism and the far right across Europe, last week French president Macron warned Europeans for the 'death of Europe'. A serious threat or political rhetoric? What is the value of the EU's position in and its decisionmakers in the coming decade in global politics? And why should you vote?

Come and find out on Thursday 23 May from 4:00-5pm at the Spanish Stairs.
