We're excited to invite you to the upcoming Blended Education Festival at our Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (FSW) on 5 September from 13:00-16:00 at the Living Lab! This is an event you won't want to miss.
This event is linked to the Faculty's opening of the academic year, which will take place right after the event.

13:00 – 13:15: Welcome and Kickstart
Kick off a dynamic afternoon of innovation, learning, and connecting.
13:15 – 13:30: Presentation FSW Vision on Blended Education
Unveiling FSW’s Vision on Blended Education and how it will be achieved.
13:30 – 14:15: Keynote Address by Estella Griffioen: Pioneering Pedagogies: Navigating the Changing Tides of Educational Innovation with Q&A
In this keynote, Estella Griffioen, an expert in educational innovation, takes us on a fascinating journey through the development of innovation in education. Step into the time machine and discover how our learning has unfolded, as we explore how teachers have been able to stimulate and enrich learning throughout the years. Get ready for an inspiring adventure that will show you how the educational landscape has transformed, and how as educators, we can harness the power of innovation to prepare our students for the future.
About the speaker: Estella Griffioen MScBA MScED is an independent learning consultant. She guides companies and institutions to develop their blended or online training offer.
14:15 - 14:45: Engage and Learn: Q&A on Navigating Blended Education
Take part in an interactive dialogue with key FSW stakeholders: an experienced teacher, Matt Longo; a motivated student representative, Laura Boncz; and Carlijn Bergwerff, chair of the VBE working group. Moderated by a passionate student host, Robin Buijs, this session will explore the implementation and impact of blended education. Discover opportunities, address challenges and gain insights that are shaping the educational landscape.
