Two professors from Leiden University, Sarah Cramsey (Judaism and Diaspora Studies/Central European Studies) and Maurits Berger (Islam and the West) will address some of the major questions regarding the horrific events of the past few days in Israel and Gaza and the history of this conflict. They will conduct a scientific debate about the recent developments and the place them in the wider political and social context. There will be plenty of room for Q&A.
Since there is only limited space available, this meeting is for students and staff of International Studies and Urban Studies only.
