On 18 April, this year’s consent panel discussion will take place. Come along, join the conversation and ask any questions you might have.

Discussion topics

What is consent and why is it so important? What is sexual violence? Can men also be victims of unacceptable behaviour? Why is an intersectional approach needed? The consent panel will discuss these points and more, and also any answer questions posed by you, the audience.

Panel members

The panel will consist of experts from the following organisations:

  • Feminists Against Ableism: an intersectional disability justice collective made up of disabled, chronically ill and neurodivergent feminists who fight against ableism, i.e. the exclusion/discrimination of disabled people.
  • MenAsWell: an organisation that stands against sexual violence towards men, transgender people and non-binary people in the Netherlands.
  • Stichting Gelijkspel: an organisation that holds workshops for student organisations and associations on standards of conduct in relation to sex.
  • Queer Leiden University: Decolonial & intersectional queer-led collective that aims to connect and support LGBTQIA+ people in The Netherlands
