What and when

Join us on 8 October from 15.00 till 17.00 hrs at Wereldmuseum Leiden for an afternoon in which the university meets the museum.

Enjoy a lecture (in English) by Daniel Soliman, curator of the Rijksmuseum of Oudheden's Egyptian and Nubian collection about the events following several negative online comments in the media.
After that Curator Oceania, Worldmuseum and professor Art and Material Culture of Oceania Wonu Veys will highlight ways of dealing with differences and disagreements revolving the exhibition of Time for Papua.
Next, curator Ad Maas will unravel what happened by means of an object from the collection, an oli-sample, that came to symbolize changing perspectives on fossil fuels.
