What, where, and for whom?
On 15 April, Career Events will take place simultaneously in Leiden and The Hague:
1) Humanities Career Event in Leiden. This event is mainly in Dutch and is intended for all students of the Faculty of Humanities in Leiden and The Hague.
2) Campus The Hague Career Event in The Hague. This Job Fair is in English and Dutch and is also aimed at international students from the Faculty of Humanities. Students from other faculties will also be present at the Job Fair.
Programme in Leiden in English
There are a number of activities in English at the Humanities Career Event, see below. For the workshops in Dutch, check out this link.

Working at Nintendo of Europe as a translator
Speakers: Marie Gasnot, Marijke Pustjens and Katharina Znoj

Are you a student in Translation or Linguistics or in a related programme with a strong passion for the linguistic field? Then please join our session in which our Senior English-Dutch translator, Marijke Pustjens, will give an inside look at how localisation is done at Nintendo of Europe. She will walk you through the localisation process, explain what the everyday work of a video game translator looks like, and highlight the key skills and qualities needed to be a good translator- such as linguistic precision, cultural awareness, creativity, and a passion for games.
The presentation will be introduced by Katharina Znoj and Marie Gasnot, Talent Acquisition Specialists, who will welcome you and provide a broader introduction to Nintendo, Nintendo of Europe, and the company culture.
