In 2026, it will be 40 years since the BA Nederlandkunde/Dutch Studies was established in Leiden: the program in Dutch language and culture for non-native speakers. The first cohort of students began in the 1986-1987 academic year. Since then, hundreds of students from all over the world have studied Dutch Studies in Leiden, either as regular or exchange students. To celebrate its fortieth anniversary, the program is organizing a celebratory anniversary gathering, to which we cordially invite all students, (former) lecturers, and alumni Dutch Studies from the past decades.
Is Leiden too far away? We will try to organise a livestream for the part that takes place in Herta Mohr; please keep an eye on this webpage.
