Exhibition Open About Depression

Date
Monday 29 June 2026 - Tuesday 21 July 2026
Address
Gorlaeus Building
Einsteinweg 55
2333 CC Leiden

From 29 June to 21 July, two panels of the travelling outdoor exhibition Open About Depression will be displayed on Einsteinweg. The exhibition can be seen at various locations across Leiden; two panels are installed on Einsteinweg. Through personal stories of young adults who have experienced symptoms of depression, the panels aim to raise awareness of mental health.

The stories offer insight into the impact of depression on everyday life and show how people have learned to cope. By making these experiences visible in public space, the panels contribute to greater understanding, recognition, and openness around mental health.

Open About Depression is an initiative by Stichting Open Mind. The travelling exhibition makes mental health discussable through personal stories and portraits, and encourages conversation and reflection.
