Yet things still regularly go wrong, sometimes with serious consequences for organisations’ privacy, security and business continuity. But how do digital incidents actually arise? Are they the result of targeted attacks, human error or technical vulnerabilities?
During this introductory session, Daan Weggemans will guide you through the world of cybersecurity and digital security. Using recent examples, he will demonstrate how cyber incidents arise, the role played by malicious actors, human error and technical vulnerabilities, and why a broader perspective on digital security is essential – even if it is not part of your day-to-day work.
