Student Master Public Administration for one dayAbout the lecture 'Public Institutions'
During this Student for a day, you will attend a lecture from the course Public Institutions. This is a core course and is therefore taken by all Public Administration students.
What are institutions, and how do they differ from other social phenomena? What effects do institutions have on the behaviour of public officials and other actors? How can institutions help to overcome collective action problems? How do institutions change, and when do they remain stable? And what are the implications of these insights for institutional design and reform? These are key questions addressed in the course 'Public institutions'.
