Student Organization of Linguistics in Europe

SOLE was founded in 1992, by students of the Holland Institute of Generative Linguistics (HIL), which has since been superseded by the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics (LUCL). Once a year, SOLE and a local committee organize a conference for students of Linguistics. Open to registered students worldwide, it provides a forum for the coming generations of linguistics to present independent research to an international audience.

ConSOLE 34

The 34th edition of the Student Organization of Linguistics in Europe (ConSOLE) will take place on the 28th - 30th of January, 2026 in Pavia.

Publication

The ConSOLE Proceedings involve an internal review process. This means that authors who wish to submit a paper must also review the paper of another author.

When you submit your first draft, please attach a list of 3 potential names of authors + papers which you would like to review, in order of preference. We cannot guarantee that you will get your wish, but we will do our best. You can use the conference programme to select a talk or poster alike.

Submission guidelines

SOLE accepts submissions in Word or LaTeX format. A stylesheet is available for both formats. Please consult the submission guidelines for information on the editing and reviewing process.

If you want to write your paper in LaTeX, you will need these files.
