Working with a disability
Finding the right job can be more of a challenge if you have a disability or (chronic) illness. The Student Career Service can offer advice on the best steps to take.
A disability or (chronic) illness need not be a limitation when it comes to looking for a job. Before entering the job market it’s a good idea to analyse where your talents lie and any possible difficulties you might face. You may have to deal with misconceptions, awkward questions and ignorance. How can you best prepare yourself for the job application process? What should you say about your abilities? How can you best present your talents? Our career advisers can help you improve your chances of finding the right job.
On the LU Career Zone you can find information (in Dutch) about reintegration and mediation agencies, career testing, legal provisions, subsidies and personal experiences.
