Preparing for an internship

The Career Service at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences offers support in preparing je motivation letter and resume / CV.


The Career Service is not a placement office. For internship assistance you can visit your internship coordinator. Click on the tab of your study programme for further information.


The internship is included in the compulsory programme of the Master's degree in Psychology. The extent of this internship is generally 10 ec, but can be further extended to 20 ec. Sometimes an extended internship is even a prerequisite for admission to post-master's education, such as the GZ program. For more information on this, see Postmasteronderwijs (in Dutch).

10 ec internship:

  • Research Internship Psychology
  • Practical Internship Psychology
  • Internal Practical Internship Psychology (for the clinical specialisations)

20 ec internship:

  • Clinical Practical Internship Psychology (for the clinical specialisations)
