The Leiden University Career Zone is an online portal that can help you to optimally prepare for your future career. Here you can find the following and much more:

  • Career Planning roadmap
    The Career Planning module consists of four steps to help you prepare for the job market: 1. Know yourself (personal profile), 2. Explore the job market (career profile), 3. Develop your (job application) skills and 4. Find a job (vacancy).
  • Explore the labour market
    Which jobs and fields of work match your education? What does the current labour market look like?
  • Career tests
    Take professional career tests and learn more about yourself and the types of job that would suit you.
  • Employability skills
    Work on your application skills, such as your CV, LinkedIn profile, cover letter and interview, networking and other employability skills.
