Entrance
There are two doors with a handle; each door opens about 80 centimetres. There is a button to open the doors to the inside automatically. There is also a separate outside entrance to the Hortus of 125 cm wide, which can be opened by a reception staff member if necessary.

Parking in Leiden
City centre
Are you visiting the Hortus botanicus, student centre Plexus or one of our faculties in the centre of Leiden? There are (limited) opportunities for paid parking on the streets and along the canals. An alternative is Parking Leiden Haagweg car park, which is easily accessible from the access roads to Leiden. A free shuttle bus will take you to any location in the centre of Leiden and pick you up again at any time. You can also walk: the car park is about 15 minutes' walk from the city centre.
Leiden Bioscience Park
If you are visiting the University Sports Centre or the Gorlaeus Campus, you can park your car in the Ehrenfest parking garage. For parking near the Einthoven bulding or the Agora building (Faculty of Social and Behavioural Scienes) we refer you to Parking lot Rijnveste.
