New subject librarian for International Studies! Sanne Muurling

As of 1 September Sanne Muurling has been appointed as the new subject librarian for International Studies, and Leiden University College, replacing Laurie Baggen.

Students can approach Sanne with any questions about library instructions, finding information for a bachelor’s or master’s thesis, and access to databases. Lecturers and tutors can contact her for acquisition requests (books, journals, e-resources) necessary for teaching or research.

Sanne has completed a Research Master’s in history at VU University in Amsterdam as well as the Master’s Book and Digital Media Studies at Leiden University. She has since then worked for the International Institute of Social History in Amsterdam and is currently completing her PhD dissertation on women’s everyday criminality in early modern Bologna at the Institute for History of Leiden University.

Sanne will be stationed both at the University Library and Wijnhaven (from November onwards).
