Grant to lead European Network on Teaching Excellence

The Institute of Security and Global Affairs (ISGA) received a grant from the EU Erasmus+ strategic partnership fund to lead a European Network on European Teaching Excellence (E-Note).

The three-year project, led by Joachim Koops, Daan Weggemans, Judi Mesman and Clara Cotroneo of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs of Leiden University in cooperation with the University of Copenhagen, the Charles University Prague, Coimbra University, the Global Governance Institute and the Coimbra Group will develop best practices in the field of online and offline teaching excellence related to Bachelor and Master teaching as well as PhD supervision.
Particular emphasis will be placed on how to implement excellence in teaching and mentoring in the context of COVID and related online adaptations.

EU Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. And is open to many individuals and organisations, although eligibility varies from one action to another and from one country to another. The programme is managed by the European Commission (the EU's executive body), the Education, Audiovisual, and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), a series of National Agencies in Programme countries, and a series of National Offices in some Partner countries.
