Keuzegids: seven top bachelor's programmes at Leiden University

Leiden University has seven top-rated bachelor's programmes according to Keuzigids universiteiten 2026, a consumer guide to university programmes. This is based on the National Student Survey.

The keuzegids guide will be published on 27 November this year. For Leiden and The Hague this means the following top-rated programmes:

Like last year, Leiden University takes fourth place among the broad-based universities, with Utrecht, Nijmegen and Groningen taking, respectively, first, second and third place. After two years with six top-rated programmes in the guide, Leiden University now has seven. New in the list this year is the Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Culture.

•    Student success rates: Do students manage to proceed to the second year? Do they earn a degree within four years?  
•    The latest intake per degree programme (September 2024)
•    Current labour market data for the various degree programmes, including information about career opportunities and starting salaries.
