Rules and regulations
Leiden University’s regulations are drawn up by various departments, such as Legal Affairs, Human Resources, the Student & Education Affairs Expertise Centre (SEA) and the department of Health, Safety & Environment.
Your most important rights and obligations as a student are laid down in the Student charter. How this statute is implemented is detailed in various faculty and educational regulations, for example your study programme’s Education and Examination Regulations (OER in Dutch). To access these, and many other university regulations, visit our regulations webpage.
