Can Feminist Foreign Policy Survive Conservative Backlash?

Join diplomats and scholars for a dynamic discussion on how Mexico, Chile, and Colombia are advancing feminist foreign policy across Latin America and the Caribbean. A conversation meant to highlight concrete experiences, strategic challenges, and opportunities for advancing gender-equitable diplomacy across key domains from peacebuilding and sustainable development to climate action and human rights. Against the backdrop of global political shifts and rising conservative backlashes, the conversation will consider not only the resilience of feminist foreign policy but also its transformative potential in redefining regional and international engagement. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of innovative approaches, practical lessons, and pathways for collaboration between Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
