Awarding of diploma
Once you complete your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree you will be awarded your diploma during a celebratory graduation ceremony. Some study programmes also have ceremonies for the awarding of first-year (propedeuse) diplomas or other important achievements. The awarding of your diploma is always arranged by your faculty or study programme.

Ceremony
Two weeks before the diploma ceremony at the latest, invitations are sent to the students. After the ceremony, you are invited to put your signature on the wall of the 'Zweetkamertje'

Absence
If you are unable to participate in the diploma ceremony, please inform the Student Services Centre at the least three weeks before the communicated date. In this case, you can collect your diploma from the Student Services Centre starting on the first day after the official diploma ceremony.
