    • Upload a scholarship motivation letter for the Kuiper - Overpelt Study Fund Scholarship (this is in addition to your programme motivation letter). Your letter must meet all the following criteria:
      • It clearly states your student number (from uSis) and that the letter concerns your motivation for the Kuiper - Overpelt Study Fund Scholarship.
      • It describes your financial situation and why you are unable to follow the programme without a scholarship;
      • It explains why you are applying for this scholarship;
      • It provides a clear overview of how you will finance the remaining tuition fee and other study-related costs (including travel, housing and living expenses), indicating any personal funds, family support, sponsorships, loans, or other sources of funding that you expect to use.

  3. Click on 'submit'.

Your scholarship application will only be processed after you have submitted both your application for admission and your scholarship application through Leiden University's online application portal (uSis), and have paid the application fee.

Selection process

Candidates for the scholarship are selected by the Admission Board of the programme and the scholarship's private donors. Scholarship decisions will be announced in the first week of May.
