On 2 April, the final of the Legal Tech Challenge 2026 took place in the Academy Building of Leiden University. During the final, teams of students pitched their technological solutions to societal challenges.

Op dinsdag 10 januari 2022 zijn tijdens de facultaire nieuwjaarsreceptie de jaarlijkse Meijersprijzen en de scriptieprijzen uitgereikt.

Met de komst van drie nieuwe masteropleidingen in 2025/26 wordt het opleidingsaanbod van de Faculteit der Rechtsgeleerdheid nog breder en meer divers. De nieuwe opleidingen richten zich op economie, recht en bedrijfskunde en recht en migratie.

Tijdens de facultaire introductieweek werden nieuwe bachelor studenten van de studies Rechtsgeleerdheid en Criminologie wegwijs gemaakt in het leren en leven aan de universiteit.
