Housing for international students
For international students, finding accommodation and navigating your way through the procedures involved can be challenging at times. Find out about the assistance and support available.
Leiden University Housing Office
The role of Leiden University Housing Office is to assist international students in finding accommodation in Leiden or the Hague. On the Housing Office website you can find out about the procedures involved and the types of accommodation on offer. You are also welcome to drop by during Housing Office visiting hours.
Finding housing yourself
As an international student, house hunting in the Netherlands can present additional challenges. You may be unfamiliar with procedures and prices; websites and advertisements are often in Dutch. On our Finding housing yourself page you can access up-to-date information, intended to help international students to find accommodation and avoid possible pitfalls.
Support and advice
- You can find information on who to turn to with any housing-related issues on our Problems, complaints and disputes page.
