Unacceptable behaviour

If you have been subjected to unacceptable behaviour by a fellow student or university staff member, such as (sexual) intimidation, bullying, violence or discrimination, you can contact the confidential counsellor on unacceptable behaviour. 

Academic integrity

Do you suspect an infringement of academic integrity on the part of a fellow student or university staff member? Depending on the nature of the situation, you can discuss this with either the confidential counsellor on academic integrity, your study adviser/coordinator, or the Ombuds Officer.

Malpractice

Do you suspect malpractice within your study programme, for example that the law is being broken or that dangerous situations are arising? You can report this to the director of your study programme. If you prefer not to do so, you can instead turn to the confidential counsellor on malpractice.

Improper treatment

By improper treatment is meant treatment that lacks respect, is unfair, contravenes regulations, or is detrimental in some other way. If you believe you have been improperly treated by a university staff member or body, you can contact the Ombuds Officer. The Ombuds Officer has a fully independent position within the university and a duty of confidentiality.
