Student counsellors
Student counsellors can answer questions and provide guidance in situations involving regulations and legal provisions. All meetings with student counsellors are strictly confidential.
You can turn to a student counsellor with any questions or problems you might have concerning:
Exceptional circumstances
- Combining studying with top-level sport
- Studying with a disability
- Studying and pregnancy / studying with children
Academic delay
- Delays to your studies caused by personal circumstances
- Issues concerning binding study advice (BSA)
In cases of academic delay, first speak to your study adviser.

- Support in cases of complaints and conflict

- Financial support for student board members
Open consultation hours
For brief questions and advice you can drop by during open consultation hours on:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 15.30-16.30 hrs.
On 22 April the open consultation hour will be cancelled.
As part of the measures taken in the context of the Corona virus, open consultation hours will take place by telephone. During these hours you can call 071 5278025 and indicate whether you want to be called via Teams or by telephone. |

Appointments
If you need more extensive advice or support, for example a formal statement or mediation, please make an appointment with a student counsellor.
You can make an appointment via the online appointment system.
Appointments with student counselors will not take place in Student Center Plexus and the Beehive due to the measures taken in the context of the Corona virus. The employees will contact you to arrange the appointment in an alternative manner (via Skype, by telephone, etc.). |
Please note that in busy periods you may have to wait several weeks for an appointment.
