Quality of education
Leiden University is committed to ensuring that your education meets the highest standards. Quality is continuously monitored and improved by both external experts and the university itself. Feedback from students plays an essential role, for example in the form of the National Student Survey.
Corona
As a result of the corona pandemic, the university may be obliged to offer its education in different forms to those stated in the Prospectus and the OER (Education and Examination Regulations). We will communicate all such changes to you as soon as possible.
Online education
When education takes place partially or wholly online, you can still count on the university to ensure the quality of education. Our lecturers are supported in their work by the Leiden Learning & Innovation Centre, and the university has created a website they can refer to for guidance and advice.
In addition, all lecturers and students must adhere to the Code of Conduct Remote Teaching, which clearly states all guidelines for testing, communication, etiquette and privacy.
