Study spaces
Consequences of extra corona measures
Study spaces will still be available for students who need them most. This means:
- International students
- Students with a disability
- Students who are carers
- Students who do not have the option to study at home or who prefer to study on campus for other (mental-health) reasons.
If you fall into one of these categories, you can reserve a study space via the normal reservation system.
You can find a quiet place to study, with or without a computer, in the faculty buildings, the library, or Plexus and Beehive student centres.
Reservation required
If you want to use a study space, with or without a computer, you must reserve a timeslot in advance. Due to the corona measures there a limited spaces available and these can fill up fast.
- You can reserve a timeslot 1 day in advance.
- Preferably use Chrome, Safari or Firefox as web browser.
- Log in using your ULCN account, select a location and reserve a space.
- Always bring your (activated) LU card with you. Without a LU card you will be denied access!
- You will receive a confirmation email after making your reservation. The link in the email serves as your entry ticket. Open the link upon arrival and show it to the person at reception.
- You can find the number of your reserved study space on the table.

Precautionary corona measures
- Do the corona check to make sure you may come to university.
- Stick to the rules and guideline stated in the campus protocol.
- Don’t arrive too early: no earlier than 15 minutes before your timeslot commences.
- Leave the building as soon as your timeslot expires.
Computer facilities
Students enrolled in the Faculty of Humanities can use the computers in rooms 123, 126a en 126b (and, in special cases, media room 127) of the Lipsius building.
You can log on to the PC using your ULCN account.
Opening hours
- Monday to Friday: 08.00 - 22.00 hours
- Saturday and Sunday: 10.00 - 22.00 hours
