- Leiden Internationalisation Agenda 2027

- Details: At this very moment an all-faculty team of international policy advisors is composing a multi-year plan on the internationalisation of the university, provisionally dubbed the Leiden Internationalisation Agenda 2027. Based on the university’s Strategic Plan and building on recent developments, university-wide ambitions will be formulated on a large diversity of themes, like language policy, strategic partnerships, global engagement, the global classroom, sustainable international travel and a lot more. Each ambition will be translated into tangible targets and concrete actions, to promote the implementation in the coming years. This session will briefly explain who is involved in the development of this big plan, and how we proceed. We will explain the state of affairs, where do we stand at the moment. The Internationalisation Agenda is due to be decided upon at end of this year. The process of writing is in full speed, but as we speak hardly any decision has been made. This is the perfect time for you to help the university to develop this important implementation plan that will affect anyone engaged in international education and research. You will meet some of its authors, representing each faculty. During the session we encourage you to provide input on what should be included. Although no guarantees can be given that each input will be included, all constructive ideas will be considered seriously.
