International Experience Week 2024

From 23 till 28 September 2024, you can join a wide range of information sessions and networking activities on location in KOG, at your faculty or online. Once the programme has been finalised, click on the topics below to find activities you might like to join. There will also be an Information Market on the final day of the event.

For students and staff

Although some sessions are specifically aimed at students, staff are also welcome to join them. There will also be sessions just for staff.

Study abroad possibilities Learn about studying abroad within or outside the EU via your faculty or a university-wide agreement, or explore alternative options
Prepare for your exchange All you need to know as a student when preparing to go abroad on exchange, for example finances, planning, motivation letter
International students Celebrate your time in Leiden and learn what the university can offer you
Meet your fellow students and colleagues Meet & greet and networking events for students and staff, both Dutch and international.
Parents & caregivers A special online session in Dutch for parents and caregivers of Leiden University students who would like to go on exchange
For staff only Learn about global opportunities, collaboration with partner institutions and how to use existing university networks
