How do you maintain your motivation and deal with problems in Covid times? This interactive online workshop series enables you to learn from the circumstances and develop personal leadership. We all need a sense of where we are going in life and our purpose is. Normally we take this for granted, but the world in this Corona era has changed. Due to Covid restrictions we depend more on our inner social circles. Lacking the inspiration of collaboration and new encounters, it may be difficult to keep ourselves motivation. Nevertheless, this can be also productive. In this series of three meetings we will discuss useful philosophical insights for living through this period. You will learn about the different phases of a crisis, and how to be open to new perspectives. Letting go of old expectations allows us to find new motivation, which will be valuable long after the crisis.

Please note: this activity consists of three sessions:

Tuesday 19 January 15.00 – 16.30
Tuesday 26 January 15.00 – 16.30
Tuesday 2 February 15.00 – 16.30

If you sign up for this activity, we expect you to take part in all sessions.

People often dance with bare feet or socks to keep contact with the floor as direct as possible. Natural movements of the body are used such as running, rolling, jumping, falling, walking, etc.

Have you ever felt like you were standing before a giant mountain you cannot climb? How did you manage to get over this? During this session you will get the unique chance to reflect on your life through the perspective of others. Sharing your ‘mountains’ and meeting other people from a totally different background can help you to see your life in another perspective. The student initiative IncLUsion Leiden helps students with refugee backgrounds integrate in the world of the university by connecting them to buddies. So, IncLUsion Leiden is all about helping each other while having different backgrounds and perspectives. You will get the unique opportunity to meet an IncLUsion refugee student and a buddy, who will share their story about how the perspective of others can help in their daily student life.
