What if you are infected with COVID-19?
If you test positive, we urgently ask you to report this to us.
If you test positive for covid-19, please inform LUC immediately by completing this form. The information you report is treated confidentially and will be used by the Student Life Officer and the Operational Manager to inform the community (anonymously) and keep track of the situation at LUC. We will also use this information to inform the head of safety and the GGD when needed.
If a student testing positive has attended any event or class at LUC in the two days preceding the infection, we will immediately (anonymously) inform the people attending.
You should stay home and isolate for at least 3-7 days depending on whether you have symptoms, until you have been free of symptoms for at least 24 hours. More information here (at the bottom of the page); the GGD will also inform you about this. Please inform your RA and the SLO. Please inform your close contacts and urge them to act (see below).
You cannot attend class or any other activity on campus. Please report your absence to your instructors via Brightspace, or another route if the instructor has informed you about another route. Your instructor may offer you the option to follow the class via a livestream, if you feel well enough to do so. More information on attendance can be found in the other document shared with you.

Decide with your supervisor what to do with your work. If you feel perfectly fine and up to it, you may decide to work from home. If you don’t feel well, you should report sick via the Service Portal.
Instructors who are currently teaching a course, may decide to teach online (obviously this would not count as an absence for students) or to drop the class due to illness. Students can be informed about this via Brightspace, please contact Course Administration or Infodesk for assistance.
