Application and admission
Do the Bachelor Honours Classes appeal to you? If so, take a look at the admission requirements and application procedures.
The registration periods for Bachelor Honours Classes in the academic year 2022-2023 are as follows:
From Monday 15 August up to and including Thursday 1 September 2022
|Second semester (and summer schools)||
From Monday 31 October up to and including Thursday 10 November 2022
Students are allowed to attend a maximum of 2 Bachelor Honours Classes per academic year (both in the same semester or one Class per semester). To increase your chances of being selected for your preferred Class(es), we advise you to apply for a maximum of 4 Bachelor Honours Classes.
You can apply online via the Honours Academy registration system. This is only possible during the registration periods as indicated above.
For your application you are required to submit the following documents:
- A concise motivation letter for each Bachelor Honours Class you are applying for (max. 1000 characters, including spacing), explaining why you wish to attend this particular Class and what you will contribute to the group (e.g. knowledge or experiences from your field of study). Applications without motivation letter will not be taken into consideration.
- An overview of your grade average (available in uSis).
Important note: You do not need to register in uSis. The organisation of the Bachelor Honours Classes will do this for you upon admission.
Bachelor Honours Classes are highly sought after. Therefore, in order to preserve their small-scale nature, the number of places available is limited.
Please note that the lecturers select participants on the basis of their motivation letter. Participants are not selected on the basis of the submission date of their application.
A few weeks after the application deadline, you will be notified about admission results via email.
