Important note: You can only participate in Honours College courses if you are admitted to the Honours College. Read more about applying for the Honours College at Application and admission. 

Course application in year 1

How the course registration process works depends on when you start the Honours College.  

• Are you starting in the second semester of year 1? When you apply for the Honours College in December–February, you will also need to indicate your preferences for the first-year honours courses you would like to take. You can only be admitted to one first-year honours course. 
   
• Are you starting in the first semester of year 2? Then you must first apply for the Honours College in May-June (during your first bachelor year). Later that summer, you will apply for the honours courses together with all upcoming second- and third-year students. View 'Course application in years 2 and 3' for more details. 

Course application in years 2 and 3

In years 2 and 3, you have the option twice a year to submit your course preferences for the coming semester. You can only be admitted to a maximum of one honours course per semester.

Course application is carried out via the Honours Academy’s application system. When the applications open, a link to the application system will be place on this web page. 

The course application periods are listed in the table below. As an Honours College student, you are responsible for keeping track of the course application periods.
