Double Bachelor Plus
Are you following two Bachelor’s programmes and would you like to take part in the Honours College? Then why not join the Double Bachelor Plus programme?
Honours Class
As a Double Bachelor Plus student you will take at least one Honours Class alongside your two Bachelor’s programmes. Honours Classes are small-scale, interdisciplinary courses that address complex scientific and social issues. Of course you are welcome to follow more than one Honours Class.

Study plan
If you want to take part in the Double Bachelor Plus you must draw up a study plan. This should clearly show how you will combine your two Bachelor’s programmes with your Honours Classes. Your faculty honours coordinator can help you with this.
Admission requirements
- You are following two Bachelor’s programmes at a Dutch University, at least one of which is Leiden University;
- Your average Bachelor grade is at least 7;
- You are looking for extra challenge alongside your studies;
- You have made satisfactory progress in both Bachelor’s programmes.
When?
You must apply for a Double Bachelor Plus before commencing the third academic year of your first Bachelor’s programme.
Honours College certificate
If you successfully complete the Double Bachelor Plus programme, you will receive an Honours College certificate.
