Find out how honours students at Leiden University can play an active role in shaping their education and get support for their well-being.

Student representation

You are encouraged to share questions, suggestions, and ideas about honours education by contacting the assessor (the student-member of the Honours Academy Board) with an e-mail.

Your input is highly valued and contributes to the continuous improvements in education, organisation, and communication.

As part of the Honours Academy board, the student assessor represents you and all other honours students. In this role, the Assessor contributes to policy development and ensures that the student perspective is brought to the attention of the Dean and the Educational Director.

Do you have questions regarding the accessibility of a programma you are participating in or want to participate in? Please contact the coordinator of your honours programme. We look forward to exploring the possibilities together. 

Study associations for honours students

A couple of honours communities have their own study association. There is PREunion for PRE-University College students and alumni and JHV Themis for law students that are following the Honours College. Please contact the assessor if you want to start your own association. 

Well-being

Complaints

Do you have a complaint about something that happened during honours education? We would like to resolve the situation together. Please contact those responsible for your honours programme. You can find contact information on your programme's website or Brightspace page.
