The Writing Lab works with student tutors. They have completed a special training, focusing among other things on the analysis of writing and text problems, and giving feedback. They help you improve your academic writing skills in a way that is most pleasant or useful to you. Whether you got stuck because you struggle working from home, you would like to discuss your text to polish your argumentation, or want to improve your paper from a 5 to a 6 or even an 8 to a 9: everyone is welcome!

We help students through writing coaching. During an individual 45-minute coaching session, you can zoom in on any aspects you need help with. We often help students improve the research question, structure, argumentation and writing style of a text, but we can also help with other aspects like planning or writing discipline. The writing coach will not judge the content of the text and will not correct spelling, grammar or annotations.
