Career prospects
The Pre-PhD Programme is designed to prepare you for a PhD trajectory. During the PPP, you will learn to write a research proposal for a PhD project.
One of the possibilities for funding a PhD in Leiden is the Meijers PhD position. Completing the PPP provides excellent preparation for this application process.
Other students who have completed the PPP in addition to their masters have an excellent starting point for a career in academia. Many PPP alumni are doing (or completed) their PhD at our university or elsewhere.
