What can you do at Be The First?

• You will regularly receive offers for workshops that promote your professional and personal development. These workshops are based on the needs and interests of you and your fellow members in the Be The First community.
• You can also participate in fun activities to meet other pioneers and exchange experiences.
• You can become a member of the Be The First committee, where you represent the voice of other pioneers and contribute ideas to POPcorner about upcoming Be The First activities (you will receive compensation for this!).
• You can be assigned a senior student as a buddy through the POPcorner buddy system, who will support you in your studies.

What do you gain from Be The First?

• Through workshops, events, the community, and your personal buddy program, you can enhance your academic skills, experiences, and network.
• Your interests and needs in terms of academic and personal development form the basis for the content of workshops and activities within Be The First.
• You will become part of a community with a safe and inclusive atmosphere. This community consists of first-generation students who want to get more out of themselves in terms of academic and personal development. Together with your fellow members, you can take on challenges and develop yourself by participating in Be The First activities!

What do we need from you?

All you need to bring is a passion for your development and future! The Be The First community is free and without obligation. You can participate in the community for as long as you want. If you also want to participate in the Be The First committee, you will be asked to contribute no more than 4 hours per month (and again, you will receive compensation for your efforts!).
