Books and Literature

The prescribed literature for each course can be found in each course outline, and should be obtained in advance of the start of each academic term. All courses have compulsory reading and recommended additional literature, specified in detail in each course syllabus. All students are required to have the assigned course texts prior to the first day of class. In many instances there will be reading assignments for the first week of class. Course literature should be available in the Leiden University Libraries system and often also at the Royal Library in The Hague.
