Standard equipment

A laptop is required for this programme. Make sure that it is an laptop, as a tablet or Chromebook does not suffice. Chromebooks are not powerful enough to run statistics software. 

Reading materials

All the obligatory reading material will be made available to you in Brightspace, our virtual learning environment. 

Software

You can purchase software at a reduced price at Surfspot. Be sure to install Eduroam and Office Pro Plus on your laptop for free.

Windows is used as the default operating system in the LUMC, which means that Apple is not supported. You are allowed to use Apple computers, but compatibility issues are at your own risk. The default language for software is English-UK. 

All our students have access to the Eduroam network. This is a with encryption secured network which provied you with direct wifi access to almost all universities worldwide without repeated logins.
